COMMUNITY EVENTS

Dear Community member, 

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team may not be able to attend drop in surgery's or meetings which they have scheduled for the next couple of days due to the Fire at the Raven Hotel. 

This is due to supporting fire and allowing them to work in a safe space away from the public and also keeping the public away from immediate area to keep you the public safe. 

I hope you understand and can spread the word ESPECIALLY to the younger members of the community that fire is not something you can control once started. Although I know that a vast majority of the community know this but I hope that this will serve a lesson to those who did not know, or possibly never even thought about it. FIRE is not something that should be played with and can lead to awful events and results at this time I do not believe that anyone has been injured or harmed which is a short miracle due to the amazing service which the fire have been completing and also to my colleagues who have been working hard to protect the public from Harm and keeping the public safe. 

I wish to say thank you to the local community and shop owners who have been so kind in giving Fire and police drinks and snacks to keep us going.
